Has been on my list to try. We found our food delicious. The vegetable samosas werr stuffed with mildly spiced potatoes and peas, served with a spicy mint sauce. We all loved the cauliflower appetizer (forgot name but the picture of it was in the menu). The main dishes wans Saag Paneer (was average), Chicken Tikka Masala that was very good, and chicken biryani that also was very good.
The outside is funny...a gray painted Wendy's. But they did a decent job with the interior decor. -

Wow, they really dropped the ball for 2019 Pride weekend. In 2018 I dined here during the Pride parade, had cocktails and food with friends, and watched the parade in air conditioned style from the 2nd floor dining area. It was fantastic and they were very accommodating.
Not sure what happened in a years time, because our experience this last weekend was quite the opposite.
I made my reservations (for 6) using OpenTable and requested the 2nd floor for parade viewing and made it clear that we would be eating and drinking-we had done this last year, and we were really looking forward to dining here again.
I called to confirm two weeks out...the man who answered rudely told me to call back closer to the date. I called back 4 days prior and spoke with a woman. There was no reservation, so she took it down for us and Again I requested the upstairs area and made it clear we would be DRINKING COCKTAILS and eating. She told me it shouldn't be a problem but would call me if it was.
Pride morning, we show up at 11:30 when they opened, and the man told me that no, they were "cleaning" the upstairs and it would take an hour (we were there since 10:30 outside waiting for the parade to start. Half the staff was outside with us that entire time) Then in order to accommodate us they had to rearrange a bunch of tables-because clearly they had no idea we were coming. Why do you even bother to take reservations?
We could barely see the parade sitting on the first floor but the food and drink had been so good last year that we resigned to stay.
Then they tell us that THE BAR IS CLOSED!
On PRIDE WEEKEND? What?!? Who's the genius who made that decision?
So, we got up and left. And all 6 of us are happy to share this experience with ALL of our friends. Don't bother with this place. I'd give em zero stars if I could. -

I hesitantly give 3 stars but I do based on the food which I really enjoyed. We also had great service, which was a concern based on many of the other reviews. To be fair it was super slow and a Tuesday.
Why hesitant if I had good food and service?
They clearly put time and effort into the décor of the place. So it's off putting to have boxes of supplies all over the restaurant in plain site of the customers. There are boxes on the staircase, by the bar, on the bar. Do they not have any storage? A back area? The mop and broom are in plain site in the bathroom. Who ever manages this space should be replaced immediately. Being in the restaurant business for over 25 years it was something that bothered me through out the meal. Atmosphere is a large part of the dining experience.
Next up the drink menu. It's large. I was excited until I found out there were only a couple of beers available (out of maybe 15 on the list). Same with the wine and every other section on the menu.
My only thought is maybe they're going to close and they aren't re ordering items. The waitress didn't know why and I felt her pain.
This is all a shame as the food was wonderful. Great location also. -

I ordered two dishes via ubereats and when my order arrived there was no rice. Instead of apologizing the restaurant said there was nothing that could be done. I asked if they would eat chicken tikka masala or buttered chicken without rice and they said no, but if I want rice I should put in another order. Very poor customer service. It's frustrating enough to not get what you paid for, but it's another level for a business to refuse to make it right.

**This review is for the dinner menu and service. Most of the reviews are regarding brunch buffet or the restaurant week menu.**
I came here for a special family occasion. I was extremely disappointed. I suggested to come here because I wanted to try a new Indian food place from Aab, Tadka, Amul, and other places I've been to. The first thing I have to say is that the service was terrible. The server kept walking away while people (my parents) were ordering and came off as annoyed with the party I was with. Yes we were a larger party of 7, but when you spend $360 at a restaurant I expect decent service.
On to the food. The appetizers were great and I thought, you know what as long as the food is this great who cares about the service. Unfortunately, as soon as the main course food was brought out that changed. I had SIX pieces of chicken in my chicken tiki masala. Yes I counted because I came hungry. The chicken was overcooked and the taste was nothing special. Second, all seven of us ordered a main course and they originally brought out ONE dish of rice to split. The size of maybe 3 cups of basmati rice. My father asked if rice came with our main dishes or if we had to order it, and the server explained he already had brought rice out and pointed to the small bowl of rice as if that was enough. We obviously ordered more which surprisingly he was quick to bring out.
I realize that this place has great reviews, and that is honestly what drew me to eat here. However, I think that there are several other Indian restaurants that are more worth your time and money. Proceed at your own risk is all I have to say.
